AI deployed without local capacity is a dependency, not a capability. A ministry that cannot operate its own systems is not sovereign, it is a customer. The Academy exists to close that gap: to train the people who will run MENA's AI infrastructure so that the region owns its own future.
Every Swibit engagement is paired with Academy seats. When we build a sovereign LLM for a ministry, we also train the engineers who will maintain it. When we design an enterprise AI platform, we also upskill the operators who will run it. The goal is permanent capability transfer, not retainer dependency.
